Jessica Soik, MBA

Jessie started working as Practice Manager at Seymour Veterinary Hospital in October 2018.  Prior to that she worked in retail and “the corporate” world.  Jessie went back to school at the age of 48 to get her bachelor’s Degree and MBA while working full time.  Jessie’s love of animals started at a very young age. All her sisters had horses which were kept at home so when Jessie was born she was immediately exposed to horses.  Jessie started riding horses at the age of 3 and showing at the age of 5.  Jessie’s love of horses grew as she grew.  She began training and showing horses professionally at the age of 17. Horses remained Jessie’s focus until the age of 30.  At that time, she decided to walk away from the horse world. Even though horses were no longer in her life she knew she would one day get back into owning animals.  In 2014, Jessie and her husband purchased acreage in Seymour and the opportunity to get back into owning animals presented itself.  Alpacas won the vote.  To date Jessie and her husband own 15 alpacas, 4 ducks, 11 chickens, 2 dogs and 3 cats.  They also own their business selling alpaca products.  The business name is: So-Fair Field Farms.
